Quality Standards

We do things right. No cutting corners, no pressure to rush jobs that need time.

Benefits Package

Health and dental benefits for full-time staff, tool allowances, and company vehicles for field roles.

For New Entrants to the Trades

You Don't Need Experience.
You Need the Right Attitude.

Our founder came up through the trades. We know what it takes to build a career from the ground up, and we know how to develop people who are willing to put in the work. The trades offer one of the clearest paths to a six-figure income without a university degree — and the demand for skilled electricians in Ontario is only growing.

As an apprentice at Safer Electric, you'll work alongside licensed masters, log real hours toward your 309A certification, and learn on jobs that actually challenge you. We value the people who show up ready to learn — because that's exactly how we all started.

ESA-registered apprenticeship hours
Schooling costs supported

Apprentice Electrician

Full-Time·GTA, Ontario

Learn the trade from licensed masters. We sponsor your apprenticeship hours, support your schooling, and put you on real jobs from day one — not coffee runs. If you're willing to work hard and show up every day, we will invest in you.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid G driver's license
  • Willing to register as an apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario
  • Physically able to perform manual labour (lifting, climbing, kneeling)
  • Reliable, punctual, and coachable — character matters more than experience

Licensed Electrician (309A)

Full-Time·GTA, Ontario

Bring your ticket and your standards. We run clean jobs — proper permits, proper gear, no cutting corners. You'll work on residential and light commercial projects throughout the GTA. We pay for quality work and reward people who take pride in it.

Apply for This Role

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Ontario 309A Certificate of Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years post-certification field experience
  • Clean ESA inspection record
  • Valid G driver's license (truck provided)
  • Proficiency with residential panel work, rough-in, and finishing

Sales Representative

Full-Time·GTA, Ontario (Field + Remote)

This is a high-earning role for someone who genuinely likes people and can explain value clearly. You'll run estimates, close residential and commercial deals, and build relationships with property managers, GCs, and homeowners. We give you the tools, the leads, and the support — you bring the hustle.

  • 2+ years of B2C or B2B sales experience (construction/trades industry preferred)
  • Comfortable running in-home or on-site estimates
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Valid G driver's license
  • Basic understanding of electrical services (we will train)
  • CRM experience an asset

Marketing Manager

Full-Time·Remote-First (GTA preferred)

We want to be the first name every GTA homeowner thinks of when they need an electrician. That's your mandate. You'll own our digital presence — SEO, Google Ads, social, email, content, and partnerships. This is a growth role with a clear path to Director as we scale nationally.

Apply for This Role

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in digital marketing (agency or in-house)
  • Strong SEO / content marketing background
  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4
  • Can write well and brief designers / copywriters effectively
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Home services or contractor marketing experience is a big plus

Software Developer

Full-Time / Contract·Remote

We're building the tech infrastructure for a nationwide electrical contracting company — scheduling, quoting, CRM integrations, customer portals, and more. We want a developer who can move fast, build things that actually work, and care about the end result.

Apply for This Role

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js
  • Experience with REST APIs and modern databases (Postgres, Supabase, PlanetScale)
  • Ability to own features end-to-end
  • Experience with CRM or field service management systems is a plus
  • Portfolio of shipped projects

Operations Manager

Full-Time·GTA, Ontario

As we scale, we need someone who can build the systems that let us grow without losing what makes us good. You'll handle scheduling, dispatch, vendor relationships, subcontractor management, and team coordination. If you're the person who fixes problems before anyone notices them, we want to meet you.

Apply for This Role

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in operations, project management, or field service management
  • Experience in trades, construction, or a field service business
  • Strong with scheduling software, job costing, and process design
